ABOUT:
To craft our garlic salt we first dehydrate thick, sticky cloves of garlic. When dry they become intoxicatingly fragrant, but even more so when we grind them down into granules. We then toss these granules with pulverized sea salt and let the two mingle for a few weeks. During this time the salt absorbs the garlic flavor and the garlic oils are further preserved in the salt.
USES:
Pastas, casseroles, soups, burgers, and bread.
INGREDIENTS:
Salt and dried garlic.
HANDLING:
Store in a cool, dry place.
